Your water will be back on

We’re really sorry for the problems with your water today. We’ve fixed the burst water main and you’ll see your water flowing back to normal soon.

If your water is discoloured or cloudy, don’t worry this is normal. We know it doesn’t look nice, but it’s not harmful and you can help by running your cold tap until it’s clear. To find out more, please click here.

Repair Timeline

(17:20) The burst water main has been repaired and your water should be flowing as normal again. 

(15:00) Our repair team have begun digging to expose the burst water main.

(14:00) The repair to the burst water main will require a road closure. Once the road closure is in place, the repair will begin. 

(12:50) Our mains were throttled, in order to restore water pressure to the wider, affected area. 

(10:30) A burst water main has been identified in Park Lane, and a technician has been dispatched to assess.

(09:00) We have had a failed booster. A technician has been dispatched to reset the booster.
