Join the race to raise money for Ricky Road Run 2017

The much anticipated Ricky Road Run is back for the 34th year running and event organisers, Affinity Water, are looking for runners and marshals to join them in helping to raise money for charity.

Each year the event is organised in association with Affinity Water to raise money for three amazing charities - WaterAid, KitAid and a charity based in the local community. This year, the charity selected by Affinity Water team members is Herts Mind Network. Entries to sign up as a runner or marshal are open now and Affinity Water is appealing for more people from the local community to get involved to make this year’s run bigger and better than ever!

Fiona Rowe the lead event organiser from Affinity Water said: “The support from the local community for the Ricky Road Run is always fantastic and this has helped us to raise over £399,000 for the charity so far. With hundreds of runners entering the Ricky Road Run every year, and many marshals helping to keep our runners safe, anyone can take part on the day, make their contribution in support of local charities and help us make the event a great success.”
