Rennie Grove Hospice

Rennie Grove Hospice Care, a charity based in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire has received a funding boost of £2,500 thanks to Affinity Water’s Community Engagement Programme.

Rennie Grove provides care and support for patients and their families after being diagnosed with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses. Every year through their 24/7 Hospice at Home service, Family Support services and the range of Day Services at Grove House, the charity gives thousands of patients the choice to stay at home surrounded by their families and friends.

Christine Goldsmith, Trust Fundraising Manager said:

“We were delighted to welcome Affinity Water to Grove House to say thank you in person for their generosity and to enable them to see first-hand the very big difference that their donation will make. All of our services are designed to ensure that local patients and their families receive the care and support they need to cope with the challenges they face as a result of life-limiting illnesses. We would not be able to provide our care services without this invaluable support from our community.”

Adam Warner, Chair of the Community Review panel said: “We are pleased to have the chance to support Rennie Grove Hospice Care. Affinity Water is a community-focused organisation serving local people and we want to be involved in projects which benefit the communities we serve.”
