Affinity Water lends Harlow scout group a helping hand

1st Kingsmoor Scout Group in Harlow has received a donation of £1,200 thanks to Affinity Water’s Community Engagement programme.

Throughout the year, the scouts enjoy a wide range of activities including camps, fundraising and volunteering within the community and most recently took part in the Armistice service at Great Parndon Church in Harlow.

With the money donated, they will be buying a new mess tent and ground sheet.

Trevor Chappell, group scout leader said: “Thanks to the funding from Affinity Water, the new mess tent will make a big difference to our scouts; we use it regularly for camping and large scouting events.”
