Last chance to bid for community funding

Affinity Water is making a final call to community groups and charities to submit applications for grants of up to £2,500 under its Community Engagement Programme.

Applicants from the Folkestone and Dover area can request support for projects that will benefit the local community or environment, or make life better for the disadvantaged, but must do so before the 31 May closing date.

Applications can be made for financial support or matched funding up to a maximum of £2500, for the use of company assets or facilities or for support from Affinity Water team members.

Corporate Responsibility Manager Beverley Taylor said: “Affinity Water is a community focused company and we are looking to support a wide range of projects that can benefit the communities we serve.

“We have already helped several local charities in previous funding rounds and have been impressed by the hard work and enthusiasm of local voluntary groups.”

Applications must be for specific projects not general fundraising. For an application form and to see organisations that have already benefited from funding visit www.affinitywater.co.uk/communityengagement.
