Affinity Water is fully inclusive

In mid-February Affinity Water was one of the 32 leading energy and utility employers in the UK that launched the Energy & Utility Skills Partnership’s Inclusion Commitment

HR Director Jo Smith said: “It’s fantastic to be a part of this programme. Our sector is not yet representative of the UK workforce in terms of gender, ethnicity, disability and under-24s.

“We want to make change happen – we’ll achieve that by being inclusive in the way we attract, recruit and develop our people, so that our workforce reflects the communities we serve. Signing up to the Inclusion Commitment will enable us to collaborate with other utilities and share best practice.”

Our Inclusivity Statement

“At Affinity Water we are committed to building a more inclusive culture, allowing every member of our workforce to bring their true selves to work, to enable them to thrive and to reach their full potential. We have a vision to be the UK’s leading community-focused water company. By committing to inclusivity we ensure that our company and its values best reflect the communities we serve and allow us to be world class in what we do.”
