The river restoration and park improvements were carried out by Affinity Water in collaboration with Dacorum Borough Council.

Affinity Water Asset Scientist and Project Manager, Mahmood Jaweesh said: “The river restoration project at the Upper Gadebridge Park is now complete and will enhance the River Gade and restore chalk stream habitats.

“There is a new wetland feature to help improve the quality of water in the river and the new public footpath along the river will ensure access for everybody to enjoy this part of the park. Pets can also enjoy the river through the new gravel beach in the area.”
