Cash boost plays the right note for Dunmow music group

Woodwind of Dunmow, a local music group in Dunmow has received a donation of over £500 thanks to Affinity Water’s Community Engagement Programme.

The group was formed in 2008 to provide musical entertainment and encourage social engagement to residents of local care homes, community groups and to support charities and community projects in fund raising events.

With the money donated, Woodwind of Dunmow will be able to continue with their great work, purchase new equipment and attract more local musicians to join the band.

Melissa Cacace, Treasurer for Woodwind of Dunmow said: “This kind donation from Affinity Water has helped us purchase new equipment so our musicians can continue to provide entertainment to our local community.”

Adam Warner, Chair of the Community Review panel said: “We are pleased to have the chance to support Woodwind of Dunmow. Affinity Water is a community-focused organisation serving local people and we want to be involved in projects which benefit the communities we serve.”
